Together they tell the story of the California Flower Market, Inc. from its beginnings in 1912 when 54 Japanese American flower growers joined together as shareholders to create the organization.

William J(ohn) Mountin (b. 14 Nov. 1901) was employed by the Statistical Branch of the Wartime Civil Control Administration (WCCA), under the Assistant Chief of Staff for Civil Affairs, Western Defense Command and Fourth Army.
